
Jane Ann Thornburg, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on February 28, 2015. She was born Jane Ann Burnell on July 23, 1948 in Lafayette, Indiana to John and Bernice Burnell. Jane previously lived in Richmond, many friends may know her as Jane Gwin. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jim Thornburg; 2 children, Scott (Patricia) Gwin and Amy (Justin) Bissett; 3 stepchildren, Jami (Jim) Smith, Jeff Lathrop, and Tara (Ryan) Rahe; grandkids, Dustin, Justice, Chase, Delaney, Megan, MacKenzie, Tanner, Cael, and Katelyn; brother, John (Kathy) Burnell; sister-in-law, Etta Burnell; and many other family members and friends. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Thomas. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 7 at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 6 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. What a sad morning to get the news of Jane’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of her and all of you at different times in our lives.
